Bravura and Delta Financial System’s pensions dashboards project team has secured another award win, this time at Citywealth’s Brand Management & Reputation Awards 2023

The team, which started jointly developing its industry-leading pensions dashboards Integrated Service Provider (ISP) solution in 2021, took home gold for Best Product/Service for its secure and scalable ISP, Dashboards Connect, and accompanying Pensions Dashboards Week, which launched in October 2022.

The week-long awareness raising initiative brought together more than 1,500 industry professionals at a crucial time for the industry. It featured a range of webinars, myth-busting sessions and Q&As, designed to inspire and educate Pension Providers, Schemes, Third-party Administrators (TPAs) and Wealth Platforms about what is involved and required to connect to the pensions dashboards ecosystem.

With pensions dashboards representing the single biggest change in the UK pensions sector for a generation, the initiative also included sessions to highlight how best-in-class technology can turn the possibilities that dashboards present into reality.

Chris Spencer, Bravura’s EMEA Managing Director, said: “As a business, we see great value in the ISP solution we have developed with our subsidiary Delta and are seeing real traction in the market as providers and schemes see the baked in scale and security our innovative and future-proof microservice technology offers. I’m extremely proud of the team and how the joint expertise of Bravura and Delta has come together in such a formidable way.”

Jonathan Hawkins, who leads Bravura’s pensions dashboards project team and was named Pension Age’s Pensions Personality of the Year 2023, added: “It’s wonderful to see our pensions dashboards ISP and accompanying Pensions Dashboards Week campaign be recognised by our industry peers once again.

“The week-long initiative represented a real coming together for the industry and at a crucial moment where there was heaps of uncertainty regarding the future direction of the programme. Thankfully we’ve since received important clarification on the Pension Dashboards Programme’s (PDP) approach in pensions minister Laura Trott’s recent announcement, and we’re urging the PDP to prioritise reinstating connections to the Central Digital Architecture (CDA) so we can begin onboarding customers and start to look ahead at the various benefits dashboards will bring to the industry and savers.”

Billy Chalk, Delta’s Managing Director and Executive Sponsor for the Group’s Pensions Dashboards Programme, commented: “The PDP represents an industry-wide challenge; but also an opportunity both Delta and Bravura have been jointly passionate about to help create better outcomes for firms, as well as savers. It’s been a privilege leading the joint workforce and it’s great to see the effort, skill and creativity of the team being recognised.”

To help pensions providers and schemes gain a better understanding of what Bravura’s pensions dashboards ISP is, how it helps organisations connect at speed and scale to the PDP’s CDA and what resources are needed to connect, Bravura and Delta have published its Guide to Onboarding ebook.
