Sydney, 30 January 2013 – Bravura Solutions Limited (Bravura) is pleased to announce an alliance with Rice Warner Actuaries Pty Limited (Rice Warner), a leading independent Australian financial services consulting practice. The partnership will deliver an integrated solution combining ePASS, Bravura’s eBusiness application, with Rice Warner’s tools and calculators. This combination will enable superannuation funds to provide members with ‘actionable advice’ by allowing them to carry out real-time online transactions based on advice that is uniquely created for each member on the fund’s website.
Many funds are looking for ways to enhance their members’ experience by providing advice and by making it easy for members to execute that advice in a cost effective manner. With this joint service, funds have the ability to generate Statements of Advice for transaction purposes if the fund has an Australian Financial Services License – without the need for advisor intervention.
Roland Slee, Bravura’s Managing Director, APAC said, “Helping members receive the best advice available – and allowing them to act on that advice – will be core to every superannuation fund’s marketing plan following the introduction of scaled advice.
“The synergy between Bravura and Rice Warner has allowed us to deliver not only a unique solution, but to do this using market leading expertise.”
Michael Rice, CEO, Rice Warner said, “Rice Warner is an expert in assisting funds engage with their members using a range of tools from member analytics and campaign management through to online tools and support with mass advice models. We are excited about combining all these aspects into an efficient process which will deliver a great service from the funds at an efficient cost. We expect that more and more members will seek scaled advice from their fund so we see this as an opportunity to introduce a low-touch online technology solution in order to provide such advice to large superannuation member bases.
“Our alliance with Bravura will deliver a seamless member experience from tailored e-marketing campaigns, through advice, to transaction or follow up by call centre, email or SMS prompts. It will also help funds deliver a great member experience through access to tools and calculators, up-to-date advice and transaction capabilities – all in a cost effective manner.”
ePASS is a highly configurable eBusiness application that provides straight through processing for employer contributions and member transaction capabilities for a range of savings and retirement products. It can be utilised in a single product or single administration system setting, or can be used in more complex set-ups with multiple products and systems.
Rice Warner’s tools and calculators are well known in the Australian financial services market, and are used by many leading superannuation funds, life insurance companies, financial planners and industry bodies. The tools are fully tailored to clients’ requirements and clients have full confidence in the knowledge that their calculators are provided with actuarial certification on the methodology and key assumptions adopted, and are professionally maintained and kept up to date on an ongoing basis.
