Sydney 25 July 2013  – Bravura Solutions Limited (Bravura) is pleased to announce that it can now deliver software solutions to meet the growing need for broader asset coverage within the superannuation environment, through the integration of member direct broker services for superannuation and pension funds.

The new modules within Bravura’s superannuation administration systems, Calibre and SuperB, and native functionality within Sonata allow funds to separately account for member direct assets and connect easily with any third party broker for execution, tax and asset administration. Services can integrate with Bravura’s ePASS online portal or can be integrated with third party online portals.

Jason Tong, Bravura’s Chief Operating Officer – APAC said: “Bravura continually seeks to help our clients remain competitive and deliver outstanding customer service. The provision of capabilities that simplify the implementation of member direct services is the latest example of the value we are able to add. The new services and modules help our clients extend the range of investment options needed to meet higher member expectations for choice and flexibility.

“The demand by members for greater control of investments, within both superannuation and pensions, has led to the need for capabilities to help funds and administrators deliver more sophisticated services to clients. Our new services aid funds and administrators in providing their members with this control, and offer a lower cost alternative to an SMSF”.

The availability of broker-agnostic integration services and software will make it both easy and cost effective for Bravura’s clients and prospects to add member direct services to their product offering, as well as meet the member demand for these services in an increasingly competitive environment.

Sonata combines over 15 years of trusted software and rich functionality with modern technology. It provides an integrated administration solution for superannuation, pensions, life insurance, trust and wrap products. It delivers web access, workflow and real-time straight through processing.
