1. Application of this Policy
    The Policy applies to Bravura Solutions Limited and its affiliates (We, Us, Our).

    We are strongly committed to protecting the personal data we hold for ‘you’ and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016, Australia Privacy Act 1988, and Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches) Act 2017, as amended from time to time. 

    The above regulations regulate, among other things, the collection, storage, quality, use and disclosure of personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines the type of personal information we collect, how that information is collected, used, stored and protected, and to whom we disclose personal information.
  1. Personal information we collect
    Any information that identifies an individual is considered to be “personal information”. We will only collect information that is required for specific recruitment and onboarding purposes and where there is a legal basis for collecting it.

    We collect personal information from you ‘the candidate’, as well as third party suppliers (such as recruitment agencies). The type of personal information we collect is outlined in Schedule 1.

    Before collecting, using, or processing your personal information, we ask ‘you’ to provide consent for collection, use and storage of this information. Unless required by law, you provide your personal information to us at your sole discretion. If you refuse to provide your personal information, we may in our sole discretion decide not to proceed with your application.   
  1. Why do we collect and use personal information?
    We collect and use personal information to assess your suitability for the role you have applied for. We do not use personal information for direct marketing, nor do we share, sell, rent or disclose your personal information.

    We may need to disclose your personal information to third party suppliers (such as pre-employment screening providers) in Australia, Singapore, Philippines and Malaysia, or to such other locations as may in the future be notified to you, as they assist in the collection of personal information.

    For example:
    • We use external service providers to help us complete pre-employment checks, where permitted by local law. Your consent will be requested before pre-employment checks are performed.
    • We may be required to process a work visa using a third party supplier.
    • A court order may require us to disclose certain information.

      We take steps to ensure our agents and third parties suppliers have a documented privacy policy and keep personal information confidential and only use it for the purpose for which they have been authorised.

      We rely on some of the exemptions permitted under the GDPR & Privacy Act. For instance, the exemption for disclosing personal information to our related companies.
  1. Protection of personal information
    We regard the security of personal information as very important. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold and have a number of physical and electronic protection measures in place. This includes encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection and video surveillance.

    The security arrangements are reviewed and tested from time to time.

    We restrict access to personal information solely to employees who need to access this information to complete tasks relating to the efficient and effective assessment of candidate applications.

    Our employees are subject to our Code of Conduct Policy, which includes a commitment to maintain confidentiality of personal information.
  1. Information storage and security
    We will only retain your personal information for a reasonable period of time, depending on the region, type of personal information and the purposes for which we hold it.

    If your application is unsuccessful we may contact you within a 6 month period about retaining your personal information for future roles. You can manage or delete your candidate profile at any time.
  1. Accessing, updating or erasing personal information
    Under the GDPR regulation, you may exercise specific rights and control over your personal data. In some circumstances you may request to access, update or erase information we hold about you. We will notify you in case of a need to transfer your data to another storage location.

    It is your responsibility to keep your personal information up to date so that accurate recruitment records can be maintained. You can access, modify or delete your candidate record through our Applicant Tracking System.

    A personal data breach occurs when personal data is accidentally or unlawfully:
    • Accessed
      • Destroyed
      • Misused
      • Lost
      • Altered
      • Disclosed without authorisation
      • Transmitted
      • Stored
      • Processed


    In case of data breach concerning personal information, we will notify affected individuals as soon as we can.

    We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time by posting revisions on this web page. Such changes will be effective upon posting.

  • Skills, Education and Qualifications
  • Employment history
  • Reporting relationships
  • Photograph
  • Position title, career level, job family
  • To the extent permitted by law, demographic information (e.g. gender, race, marital status, passport/visa information, nationality, citizenship, disability)
  • Health issues requiring adaptations to the work environment
  • Bank account details for salary payment purposes
  • Personal information contained in CVs (e.g. name, address, contact details, employment history, qualifications, training history, languages, etc.).
  • Information contained in an employment contract (including remuneration, office location, country, hours of work, etc.)
  • Personal information which you made available for recruitment purposes on jobs boards, LinkedIn, or other social media, and to third parties such as recruitment agencies that we partner with
  • Results of pre-employment screening
  • Details provided in relation to Onboarding policies and Compliance Testing
  • Health & safety incidents, accidents and associated records
  • Notes and recordings from interviews
  • Results from selection tests and assessments
  • References
