Leader in next-generation financial services software, Bravura Solutions Limited (ASX:BVS) (Bravura), has announced the appointment of Tim Bakkenes as Head of Sales and Account Management. Based in New Zealand, Tim will be a key member of Bravura New Zealand’s Management team.

Tim’s responsibilities include managing Bravura’s existing client relationships in New Zealand, as well as identifying emerging needs and opportunities across the country.

Tim brings a wealth of experience to this newly created role. Over the past decade he served as an Account Executive and Key Account Manager with financial software company, Iress. As the company’s primary relationship owner in New Zealand, Tim took care of its key wealth management accounts, including banks, insurance companies and boutique providers, ensuring an outstanding client experience.

Prior to that, Tim developed his skills at iconic New Zealand companies, including Air New Zealand, where he was an Account Executive, and with insurance broking firm Aon.

Tim is a proven team player with a track record in building relationships and helping businesses achieve sustainable growth. Bravura’s Chief Executive Officer, Tony Klim, says the team is excited to welcome Tim to the Bravura team. “We look forward to working with Tim to achieve our ambitions to grow our NZ business,” he said.

Since commencing his role, Tim is already making impressive headway towards developing Bravura’s business in New Zealand, with a focus on expanding its digital advice proposition. Bravura’s innovative digital advice platform enables advisers to deliver efficient and compliant advice, while managing relationships and providing advice documents face-to-face or by phone.

“I’m delighted to join the energetic and passionate team here at Bravura,” said Tim.

“With the market’s focus on digital customer engagement and advice on the rise, I look forward to working with financial services businesses to implement innovative digital tools and strategies that can help New Zealanders achieve financial wellbeing.”
